Mayor Dave Cieslewicz' wrong focus
http://www.channel3000.com/news/18470274/detail.html

I wonder if Mayor Dave had spent energy on a proactive grass roots level if it could have been saved.

The time he spent asking at least 3 people to run against Brenda Konkel who he can't get to think the way he thinks she should think might have been used to have neighbborhood meetings asking folk what are you doing to preserve your neighborhood.

Soglin moved up from Chicago and brought the idea of the neighborhood and this mayor never uses it.

If people want a grocery store in their neighborhood that is beset with crime they better start taking action to help monitor their neighbors.

One idea:

Instead of having a walk once a year to say no to night crime have one night a week or start with one day a week where adults come to the store to monitor so that others feel safe.

There are things that can be done but Mayor Dave's wanting to be somebody important instead of caring about the people like Brenda Konkel does prevents him from thinking outside of the box and makes him want to get nonthinking folk in the box with him.

It would be interesting to see what jobs have left Madison under him.

I ran into a worker at my job whose job was from American Family at the call center was out sourced to Texas this past year. She works two jobs to survive.

We lost the shoe company under him.

We lost a Cub Foods

So give up on making Brenda Konkel the speck of dust in your eye Mayor Dave and start taking the plank of ego mania out of your own.
