Is Bill Lueder's losing it
I walk out of the Middleton Library surprised to find the Isthmus is out because i have been working on my condo because mom is arriving this week and so i can live with order and the Ghost factor.
I pick up the Isthmus like a welcomed surprise happy to see coverage of the Union.
And i am standing in the lobby just to exit and see a picture of Tedd O'Connel and I was affected by Channel 3 politics as a kid so I am smiling and then, I suddenly I am reading a blog where someone is venting worse yet I think i am at a job and a "bitcher" whose motive is to make you feel bad about your job so that they can feel powerful when all you want to do is the damn work.
So maybe Bill is bitching about the bitchers who call him. Or maybe Bill is just a powerless bitcher himself.
But get over it buddy, there is major corruption in this world and I studied feminist theory so I knew to make noise and I also knew that I had to be willing to let people think i was out of my mind including family members.
Get over it. If you can t take people calling you for help get an assistant or tell them write it down and I will review but don t be patriarchal and bitch at us
You are getting burnt out, it's the part of you that was raised in patriarchal milwaukee you can't shrug it off.
I have to wonder if you are at a point where you fear the loss of newspaper print so much that you are losing roots of VOICE.
Go find your facts but if we want to read facts we will read the police report not the Isthmus and instead of looking at it as the awful burden why don t you be glad that THE ISTHMUJS is the last voice in town.
And your dilemna it seems to me is wondering what you are doing in this business. THen, get out.
When i read that Vicki Kratz was leaving the Isthmus last week I knew noone had a voice anymore because youa re too busy pleasing the mayor and paul soglin
I like your writing. It's beautiful at times. I like Paul Soglin's politics too.
But rant somewhere else. Get a blog. Or get a jounralist student to answer your phone but don t bitch at us.
I have found bitchers to be the most powerless group of people who can t take a stand and want every one to feel as bad as they do.
I resent your articl's tone. It was insaulting to your readers.
Take a stand bill, decide if you want to be a reporter or not and stop taking it out on people who are finding their way.
