Where is Bridget Maniaci's Blog? Or more importantly where is her voice?
Is she the rubber stamp the "establishment" ordered ?

There is nothing on her except that on one fairy tale night she was "overwhelmed" having been chosen as the beauty queen of patriarchal white men's money.

So i am looking up Konkel too and i am led to this by Soglin.

Now, we know he's brilliant and his over simplification of the issues is ridiculous. For a mind llike that to question why we question the Mayor of Hilldale and some of the shannagans going on and for a mind like that that was schooled on Chicago politics to over simplify the quesioning is not honest. The reason people question the Mayor of Hilldale is that we have seen him in work, Paul.

At least you leave all kinds of comments on your blog but really Paul how much money do you have to make to be happy?

All Konkel does here is narrate what she observes.

I suppose the Mayor of Hilldale keeps on forming and shaping Bridgie into what you men want her to be a rubber stamp.

Bridget doesn t question a thing. She doesn t even speak. Hey, I have an idea why don t you stage it llike one of those old contestant shows where the people were given the answer ahead of time.

In this case Bridget could ask the Mayor a daring question and then it would ripple through the crowds that be and well, we might think she has a clue as to what is going on instead of taking her as the Mayor's rubber stamp.

Come on Paul, Give Bridget Maniaci a voice tell her what to say.

Yeah now of all you patriarchs understand why Gerry Boyle wanted to do me in, how dare I question as a woman.

My brothers get annoyed with me too. Generally, it comes out of their mouth as "Terr Ree" as if my first name is two names.

But they also love me.

And my father believed in my voice.

My mother reminded me of my first act of civil disobedience. It took place in Scales Mound Illinois after my father told me that he was not going to take me to Madison because he did not have a sick cow to take to the University for a farmer after all.

I had my lunch packed. I was 4 years old.

My mother said, "And the Hesselbacher's called from the gas station to say, 'Your little girl is sitting in the middle of a road holding up a milk truck."

Mom said to me the other day, "You see it does take a village."

Paul, we have to question. YOu know it.

And unfortunately Gerry Boyle and the goons that signed up on stalking never were able to get the difference between a protester versus a reactionary. I am not a reactionary so their bait all these years has been wasted.

My father was an amazing man. I would sit in the car waiting for him when he would go to a farmer's door and my first memory of him there was tipping his hat to the farmer's wife.

It annoys me Paul that you take on Brenda Konkel for having a voice but you don t take on Bridget Maniaci for being the Mayor of Hilldale's rubber stamp.

It almost makes you look like a Patriarch Paul. Patriarchs like quiet women.

You are better than that.

Brenda Konkel's voice gave you a voice to state how you see it.

That type of discussion is called democracy.
