Dear Maripat
Maripat, thank you for the check ! You wrote to spend it on anything but Mom has been working with my budget and I asked her if she was ok with my paying my phone bill with it.

So I paid my phone bill through August and when I gave my friend (who is the daughter I would have wanted) she broke her reserve to wipe a tear when she saw me, "I think i am going to cry."

I told Michele how generous you were and she said, "Your family has really come through for you in this haven t they?"

I nodded.

She said, "That must feel good."

I smiled to say, "It does."

You should have seen when i went to michele's last night both dogs were in the back yard and the deaf dog saw me walk into the house. She came running to the patio doors jumping up to put her feet on the windows.

I let her in. She was just so happy to see me.

I was happy to see her.

Michele warned her, "Be careful Teresa has to take it slow."

The dog leaned against my leg as she lifted her head for me to rub her kneck.

Michele said, "She just loves Teresa. Teresa is her favorite visitor."

The deaf dog is generally aloof to people.

I'll be visiting and suddenly the deaf will be looking at the wall as if she sees Ghosts.

So I take it to mean that i have spirits protecting me that she sees because she doesn t do that with other people.

And i never dreamt a dog could be so spiritual.

Last night she then left me to sit up on the couch across from me just to stare at me.

I love the dog.

Steve was there, Michele was there we had a good night.

So thank you for everything.

Mom is feeling better; she sounded great this morning.
