    Time Event
    6:27p
    Dear Ghost
I first wrote Michele and then i checked to see the Mayor of Hilldale's blog and sure enough he is affected by what i am pointing out here because he cut down on the pronoun "I" considerably.

I had to get on line to fix the poem I wrote about you last night. I had to switch the word, "and" to turn the word, walk, into an infinitive.

It was bugging since last night when i clicked off the computer but i didn t have the time nor the strength to change it til now.

    Mom is not well.

They put her on antibiotic; her chest was so tight this morning.

My brothers, mike and smokey, call. My sisters call.

I am not leaving her til she's better.

I wanted to be able to go back to work this weekend. I love my job but i can t read my voice isn t back yet and i cough.

But i hope the following weekend i will be back.

i just can t leave her.

She's not eating properly. I am pushing nutrients into myself and i can t get her to do it.

    Well, I love you ghost.

    I love your heart.

I love that you show in my dreams.

I love that you can be grumpy.

I love that you can be playful.

I have seen it all from my window.

I don t like that all those women like you. Smart thinking women really like you. It's like when my mom met you she said to me in the car, "I like that guy."

    She never says that.

    I miss seeing you.

The Mayor of Hilldale is now working on his pronoun "I" problem
    http://www.cityofmadison.com/mayor/blog/index.cfm?Id=163

It's still irritating though he says, "I budgeted" Well aren t the alders part of the budgeting plan.

It's hard to be the Mayor of Hilldale and give up that ego. Kings deserve all the credit you know.

Well, he speaks on the library and i have this smart and savy friend from chicago---she's my best friend --she's a poet and a person who works with justice issues.

She told me that the Library off of Midvale which is close to the Mayor of Hilldale's kingdom is a foreshadowing of what we are going to see in the downtown library.

She said it is cold and institutional and the goal will be to keep the homeless out of the downtown public library.

    http://www.madisonpubliclibrary.org/about/sequoya.html

She used the library before it was moved to Tokay Blvd and she uses it now.

So, go see the new Sequoya library, then go see Middleton's and all this money the Mayor of Hilldale wants to go over budget on will be for ice cold sterility so that none of those folks that Brenda Konkel includes in her representation will show up.

The Mayor of Hilldale thinks he's so smart making it happen because we folks outside of Hilldale we is stupid people.

The Mayor of Hilldale ----King of kings
For those of you who assume that i am only fixated on this i have written today. I am writing a Christmas Novel (i hope) based on Ghost and the way i have seen him lives his life.

I also have tended to my mother. And have written my best friend in madison whom i miss terribly so this is a justice issue for me and i also have eaten incredibly healthy (all anti inflammatory food) so this isn t the main part of my day. Writing comes easy to me so if you assume i am only fixated on this you don t know me.

I just looked at Brenda Konkel's web site and she lists that the Mayor of Hilldale is only considering the FIORE plan for the library not even looking at refurbishing what we have.

    http://brendakonkel.blogspot.com/2009/07/robst-meeting-schedule-week-ahead.html

As far as I can see she's still our informed rep of the second district.

There is a debate on her blog about comments and a know it all said that the only way to give her blog credibility is to have comments.

I don t agree that a blog has to have comments to have credibility.

Voice is voice and she has suffered enough. It's ridiculous what the Mayor of Hilldale did to her so he can have his dinners and movies at Sundance with the polite people, the kind he'll want to come to his Fiore Library.

Voice is voice and Brenda Konkel has been crucified for her questioning by that man. Can you imagine being married to him? Oh, yuck.

I bet he shuns and pouts until he gets his way.

I don t like the guy; it s personal. I don t like how he treats women and the politically disenfranchised.

I grew up on Madison politics. I studied Paul Soglin from the time i was in 3rd grade. (yeah he annoys me at times but when he lost i wrote on my blog; you need to write) And i think i was right. When I moved to this town ten years ago then Mayor Sue Baumann said of Barbara Vedder (who brenda konkel replaced as Barbara Vedder went on to the Dane county Board) in the Wisconsin State Journal, "she really cares"

If she were still mayor, Sue Baumann may have had it out with Brenda Konkel but there would never be this blatant sexism or disregard for the other voice.

The mayor of hilldale is not Madison Politics.

In this time of money crunch we should be looking at collaborating with the UW library for certain services.

this is a time when we can check out anything from any library in Wisconsin outside of Milwaukee and just because the Mayor of Hilldale is an ego maniac defined by the inability to accept questioning with out ruining the questioner we are going to waste money that should not be wasted.

We have neighborhood libraries. WE have the UW that let's people like me go there for free as long as i show id and they give me a year pass. To build a kingdom when we are broke as a community is wrong.

Please read this poem to the Mayor of Hilldale.

    Ozymandias
    by Percy Bysshe Shelley
I met a traveler from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
    The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;
And on the pedestal these words appear:
“My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look upon my works, ye Mighty, and despair!”
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.
